This is already the fourth time the two regional No. 1 trade fairs for wire, cable and tubes – wire South America and TUBOTECH – will be held concurrently at the Sao Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center in Brazil.
From 1 to 3 October 2019 the exhibition halls will again become the local hotspot for these industries. In addition to companies from South America exhibitors from Europe, the USA and some Asian countries are expected. Approximately 500 exhibitors from a total of 24 countries will display machinery, plants, products and services on some 30,000 square metres of exhibition space.
After a change of government in late 2018 Brazil’s economy is slowly but surely picking up again. Over the past few years sustainable investments in the sectors oil, gas and infrastructure were required since many machines and plants in the country had become outdated. The next two years will see increased investment in these segments continue.
This means Brazil is an attractive market with growth potential for the suppliers of machinery and plants for agriculture, the construction and energy sectors and the automotive industry.
After China, the USA and Argentina, Germany is the fourth most important supply country for Brazil. This is also why new machines and equipment account for one quarter of the imports from Germany.
wire South America 2019After its successful debut in 2013 wire South America has become an established fixture on the South American exhibition market even providing international impulses for the wire and cable industries. On display will be wire manufacturing and finishing machines, process engineering tools and auxiliary process technology materials as well as materials, special wires and cables. The trade fair ranges are complemented by innovations from the areas of measuring and control technology, test engineering, and specialist areas.
TUBOTECH 2019Held for the 10th time already will be TUBOTECH, International Trade Fair for Tubes, Valves, Pumps, Fittings and Components. Since its premiere in 2001 it has developed further and also stood the test of time in the face of the economic challenges of the past years.
On show will be machinery and equipment for tube manufacturing, processing and finishing, raw materials, tubes and accessories, second-hand machinery, trading and stockists of tubes as well as process engineering tools, auxiliaries and measuring, control technology plus test engineering.
The high-calibre metal trade fair duo expects to the tune of 11,000 trade visitors primarily from the oil and gas, automotive, construction, metal construction and mining sectors. Against the backdrop of extensive planned investment in the infrastructure of the raw-material rich country that is Brazil, the products from the wire, cable and tube industries are in high demand.
The trade fair duo is supported by the local partner Cipa Fiera Milano Publicações e Eventos Ltda., which has been instrumental to the growing success of the two trade fairs.
wire South America is also supported by the IWMA – International Wire & Machinery Association, the IWCEA – International Wire & Cable Exhibitors Association, the WCISA – Wire and Cable Industry Suppliers Association and the ACIMAF – Italian Wire Machinery Manufacturers Association.
TUBOTECH can count on the support of the ITA – International Tube Association – and of the Brazilian industry association ABITAM – Associação Brasileira da Indústria de Tubos e Accesórios de Metal.
