And they make a traditional manufacturing process highly relevant. By means of rotary swaging the weight of components can be reduced. Thus, a vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emission are reduced. At the same time the manufacturers save money because rotary swaging (contrary to e.g. turning) does not produce any waste.
