Borşen Boru was founded in 1979. Today Borşen Boru is not only a distributor of steel pipes,valves and fittings but also a leading manufacturer of TIG welded stainless steel
pipes in Turkey. Borşen Boru has built up a wealth of knowledge, expertise in products, their application and distribution as a logistic specialist. Borşen Boru is the Turkish representative and single distributor of Ham-Let for Valves and Fittings as well as of Alfa-Laval for Sanitary Flow Equipment .Borşen Boru has started to manufacture TIG welded Stainless steel pipes since January 2006 in its own facilities. The test laboratory of Borşen Boru is a very important part of Quality Assurance process. In Turkey, Borşen Boru is a synonym for high quality TIG welded stainless steel pipes and fittings. Manufacturing processes such as Tricathode TIG welding, outside and inside bead removal, in-line bright annealing, straightening, surface finishing and tube-end deburring allow Borşen Boru to meet and exceed customer’s delivery expectations.

Borşen Boru is dedicated to achieving total customer satisfaction by continually improving products, processes, services and by using latest manufacturing technology, Borşen Boru’s production line has two Eddy Current systems. First test system is being used to detect defects of incomplete welding; the second one is being used to test whole pipe section after annealing process. Borşen Boru focuses its efforts on the continuous quality control and improvement. Some of standard tests in the new non-destructive and destructive quality control test laboratory for Borşen Boru products are as follows : chemical analysis by spectrometre, surface roughness test, hardness test, tensile test, shear strength test, flattening test, flaring test, reverse bending test and hydrostatic test. Stainless steel tubes produced by Borşen have a producer test and analysis report according to EN 10204 / 3.1
