, wire, International Wire and Cable Trade Fair, and Tube, International Tube and Pipe Trade Fair, will be taking place together for the 16th time between 16 and 20 April 2018 at Düsseldorf Fairgrounds. wire and Tube are the places were journalists from home and abroad will come to meet and work. To make your stay and activities here as pleasant and convenient as possible, we should like to provide you with a few details regarding the official registration process as well as the range of services offered by our Press Department. For the first time at wire and Tube we are offering the possibility to take care of your accreditation online and print your press card before the event, in the comfort of your home or office. >> The Online Accreditation Online accreditation is available beginning 06 February 2018. Your press card secures admission to wire2018/Tube 2018 for the duration of the trade fair, as well as free travel to and from the exhibition centre via public transport within the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr (VRR) network. Pouches and lanyards for your press card as well as trade fair catalogues, are available at all designated Press Counters in the entrances North, South, East and at fair tower building, main entrance. If you are traveling by car, you may use car park P4 on Stockumer Kirchstrasse (follow the signs to “Messe Verwaltung”). Your press card serves as a free parking voucher. Please understand that we cannot guarantee the availability of sufficient parking space. The staff at the press parking facilities are instructed to accept only the specified credentials. We ask for your understanding of this measure in the interest of smooth and efficient operations. Detailed route maps for travelling to the exhibition centre by bus, train or car can be found on the Internet under www.wire.de and www.Tube.de at Contact & Arrival. Please understand that non-journalist staff, such as marketing or advertising personnel, are not entitled to a press card. Please also note that prior inclusion in the Messe Düsseldorf press mailing list does not automatically entitle you to a press card. The Press Center on the first floor of the administration building is open for you daily from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM. On the last day it will be closed at 4:00 PM. • Copy and telefax machines
• Free W-LAN Internet access Note! W-LAN access via the “VIP Hotspot” is only available to accredited journalists. Food and beverages are available on a small cost-sharing basis.
