This year is the first year of China’s 13th Five Year Plan, and the demand for steel is being supported by the continual kick-offs of domestic infrastructure projects. National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has allocated CNY 400 billion special construction funds to promote investment and steady economic growth. Driven by investment, equipment manufacturing, construction and real estate, automobile and other industries have accelerated their production, leading to fast growth in steel pipe industry for consecutively two months. Moreover, the government has also provided full support for environmental projects, and all these factors resultantly stimulate the domestic demands of steel pipes. Tube China 2016 will provide 45,000 m² exhibition area to about 500 manufacturers home and abroad, showcasing raw materials, tubes, pipes and fittings, pipe manufacturing machinery, in addition to processing tools and auxiliary equipment, measurement and control technology, test engineering, profiles, machinery and other special areas. The fact that as many exhibitors as ever nailed ‘their colours to the mast’ in China proves that tube industry stands by its leading trade fair in China even in tough economic times. Up to now, 80% of exhibition space has already been booked by, for example, SMS, EFD, BOEHLERIT, LAP, TPCO, Youfa Steel Pipe Group, Panyu Chu Kong Steel Pipe, Stellar Group, Jiuli, Hubei Xinyegang Steel, Bao Steel and other well-known foreign and domestic manufacturers. Meanwhile, the organizer works closely with associations in oil and gas, automotive, construction, electrical power, general machinery industries and etc. and invites VIP buyer groups to visit the show.
