E.M.S combines axial forming with rolling and cutting
Special Requirements need innovative solutions.
Because of this reason E.M.S. developed the combination between axial forming and a rolling-cutting tool.
In a machine type 40CC 12T was an additional powered rolling-cutting tool on a tool changer system installed that formed a bead and in the same operation it cut the over length from bending.
For the customer Faurecia it was the most economically solution, it allows three operations in one clamping. There were no further cost intensive operations, that was the base for a new (patented) fitting technology.
E.M.S. is looking back on a long tradition of building tube end forming machines, because Daniel Heitz, the son of the founder Albert Heitz constructed the first “ presse-hydraulique” at the end of the 1960s. In former times he constructed Hydraulic systems and on impression of a customer the development began. This was the starting signal for today’s medium sized business, who is leading constructor of tube end forming machines. We accept every challenge, we are professionals in axial forming, rolling, hacking, push bending, hydro forming and if a customer needs an innovative solution for new applications he is at the right address with us.
