The family-owned RUD Group from Aalen-Unterkochen, Germany, now has an active presence in the Mexican city Puebla, which is located two hours outside of the capital city and is known for its Volkswagen plant. RUD Lifting Mexico was recently founded as a sales subsidiary and began operations at the beginning of the year. The initial team of around 10 employees is located 2000 m up in the Mexican highlands. This is strategically excellent, as the modern German-made lifting means from RUD are in high demand in the area of automobile supply and mould and die construction in particular. This makes RUD Lifting Mexico the topographically highest RUD location in the whole world. The new unit is a motivated group of sales engineers who are working to ensure that the RUD family group continues to lead the market in the future in the high-quality lifting means segment in the booming region of Middle America. Mexico is among the most important industrial nations in the Americas, in addition to the USA, Canada and Brazil. It is extraordinarily strong in the areas of automobile, aircraft and general machine construction.
As the newest subsidiary in RUD family group, RUD Lifting Mexico is invested in focused, continual, profitable growth. This also helps to keep business in Germany and to protect jobs at the RUD Friedensinsel location in Aalen-Unterkochen in the Ostalb region.
