FROMA S.r.l.

1341 - Mod. PM20/NC

In the last years the demand for three-dimensional mesh panels for fencing, having dimensions max. mm 2000 x 2000mm, has increased. The stiffness of the structure, requested by this type of usage, can be reached carrying out some lines of trapezoidal bending on vertical bars. The production process used until now has employed the following machines:a welding machine to produce the flat mesh panel; a bending press to carry out “V”-shaped three-dimensional bending of the bars and devices for automatic transfer. In order to simplify and make production cycle more rational, Froma has realized the welding machine as per Model PM20-NC-D. 1341. It is equipped with a multiple hydraulic bending system of the cross bars, allowing to produce the finished three-dimensional mesh panel in a single operation and by a single machine. On the cross bars,in fact, the 2-3 or 4 trapezoid-shaped bending on relief are produced before welding operation and therefore, the mesh panel, manufactured already finished in a single oepration, will not have to be transferred then to a big press-bending machine to carry out the bending operation for ribbing. The investment cost just for the welding machine PM20-NC-D.1341 is surely more economic than a traditional line, which instead consists of 2 machines. The PM20-NC-D.1341 will just take 50% of the room requested by a traditional line. The functioning of a single machine surely involves lower management costs in comparison to a line made up of a welder+press, both concerning labour and energy costs.
