The process of decorative stainless steell tube polishing with LOESER centerless grinding and polishing machines consists of pre-grinding with abrasive belts and coolant then final polishing using a series buffing wheels made from various types of materials such as cotton, polyester, sisal etc along with spray application of a liquid polishing compound. This two step process assures removal of surface defects and blending of the welded seam then brings the surface to a final bright mirror finish.
The LOESER belt polishing heads use a special designed pressure control system to assure consistent polishing and stock removal even on tubes that are out of round and not straight. The special designed buffing heads can be angled for “cross buffing” which assures removal of grit lines imparted by the abrasive belt polishing operation.
- Automated spray application of liquid polishing compound
- Efficient use of consumables
- Automatically tube size changeover
- Automatic loading / unloading
- Automatic packaging in a plastic bag can be added
The unique combination of wet grinding and emulsion polishing technologies in one centerless machine allows:
- High production manufacturing
- Flexibility for just in time working process
- Reduction of inventory expenses
- Machine can be used also for standard polished finishes

Chrome plating requires a very high surface quality before the plating process in order to assure a cosmetically appealing part. The chrome plating process will actually find and highlight any defects in the part if not completely removed before plate.
The better prepared the pre plated surface, the higher the quality the chrome plating.
A high quality pre chrome polishing operation can greatly reduce the amount of Nichol used and increase the corrosion protection and appearance of the part.
