These machines are used to reduce the diameter of the wire tip, in order to introduce it easily in the die and pull it then with the first carriage´s gripper, starting the drawing. These machines are made up of: - a peeling head which turns the wire for about 250 / 300mm - a clamping vice for the wire processing - a collecting chips box with a liquids container to cool the tools
Following the endless increase of demand of always faster drawing lines, connected with cutting quality and accuracy, SAS has designed and produced hydraulic flying shears that are cutting “bushing-to-bushing”.
This kind of cut allows to decrease the specific pressure generated by cutting stress on the material. A better quality of the point is obtained (nail effect) and the cut is perfectly orthogonal in respect of bar axis.
The shearing tool is mounted on a carriage working on ball glides and powered by a brush-less electric motor.
An electronic encoder, controlled by the central drive, powers the motor until the carriage reaches the same speed as bar; the bar is cut only when the difference between the two speeds is zero and therefore differences in lengths are dramatically reduced.Link to further Information
The bar straightener is acrried out to thanks to its passage through the pre-regulated rolls, positioend with a scaling inter-axis, at 90° between the first and the second straightening group, for a working in sequence of the two alternating and parallel sides, of plates and frames. The choice of adjustable rolls makes it easier the prparation for the working of bars with a different section and gets rid of the process of rolls substitution with fixed channels. For the working of hexagonal bars, rolls are installed on the second straightening group with the semicircular channels. The working cycle, normally automatic and continious, can be commuted into a pulse functioning in the phase of working preparation. The high dimensioning of those organs subjected to strong efforts guarantees a regular and long-lasting functioning, with no need for periodical assistance sevices.
