Hampton Steel is one of the largest UK manufacturer's of steel wire fencing and related products.

With years of experience as cold rollers of steel profiles Hampton's have gradually taken ownership of their manufacturing destiny leading to £millions in investment and the installation at their Midlands based plant of the new XNET™ machine, the only one of its kind in Europe. XNET™ fencing takes its place in the long list of Hampton’s favourites including hinge joint fencing, barbed wire, chain link fencing, line wires and staples and hexagonal wire netting.

Featuring an animal and people friendly X shaped knotted joint, XNET™’ has no protruding ends and uses less wire than other similar designs to provide a cost effective superior fence with superior strength. The knotted joint locks both vertical and horizontal wires tight to maintain form and rigidity even after impact. XNET™ can also be designed to include within the manufacturing process, a hinged upper or lower section to exclude unwanted animals such as burrowing badgers and scaling otters. This fantastic addition allows for either a lower section that can be angled out and buried beneath the ground to help protect and exclude badgers, or an upper section that can be angled thereby inhibiting otters from scaling.

All of Hampton's fences are manufactured to BS EN 10223, unless otherwise stated, all wires used are produced to BS4102 and galvanised to BS EN 10244-2 Class A Their promise of ‘quality guaranteed’ is further substantiated by the prestigious accreditation awarded to them, ISO 9001 and more recently for their commitment to the environment by attaining ISO 14001.
