Plastic and steel composite reels for high speed telephone cable extrusion lines (RPM 2500), insulated cables and optical fiber. Flanges are made of virgin ABS specifically designed to be stretchable and impact resistant. The reel assemblement is provided by screwed rods and self locking nuts. Central bushes are machined. The barrel is made in painted or galvanized steel. All the remaining parts of the reel are elettrolitically galvanized. Dimensions according to DIN norms or to customer requirement.

Heavy duty - high capacity process reels. Flanges are manufactured with a double steel plate reinforced by internal ribs. This reel can be partially machined and dynamically balanced according to ISO 1940 for operating speeds up to 40 m/s. Manufactured according to DIN norms or to customer specification with flange diameters up to 1250 mm.

Single flange pressed steel reels suitable for cables, wires and strands. Can be used for internal process of for shipping. The available flange diameters are the following : mm. 315, 400, 450, 500, 560, 600, 630, 760, 800, 1000.

Designed as per DIN standard or according to customers' specifications, these reel types can be manufactured by making use of different sheet thickness, depending on the application required. A partial machining of the reels and a dynamic balancing can be provided as option for high speed applications. Special reinforcements for drum twister are also available. These reels are epoxy-painted or powder coated and are often supplied with steel pallets for reel storage.
